ConnectTeam Terms and Conditions for APS Employees

ConnectTeam Terms and Conditions Policy for Employees

1. Purpose

This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing employee use of the ConnectTeam mobile application at Aquila Protective Services. The platform is an official company tool for timekeeping, scheduling, communication, task management, and operational support.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and authorized personnel of Aquila Protective Services who access or use ConnectTeam for any company-related purpose.

3. Authorized Use

ConnectTeam must be used exclusively for authorized work-related purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Clocking in and out for scheduled shifts

  • Viewing and acknowledging schedules and updates

  • Receiving company-wide announcements and emergency alerts

  • Communicating with supervisors and approved team channels

  • Submitting forms such as time-off requests, incident reports, and availability updates

  • Accessing training modules or operational documents

Personal use of ConnectTeam is strictly prohibited.

4. Account Responsibility

  • Each employee is issued a unique ConnectTeam account tied to their role and contact information.

  • Employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

  • Employees may not share their account or access with any other individual.

  • Lost, stolen, or compromised accounts must be reported immediately to management.

 

5. Attendance and Timekeeping Compliance

  • Clock-ins and clock-outs must be completed through the ConnectTeam app unless otherwise instructed.

  • GPS verification may be used to validate work locations for attendance purposes.

  • Tampering with time records, falsifying entries, or clocking in for another employee (or vice versa) is grounds for disciplinary action, including termination.

  • Timesheets are considered legal records and subject to audit.

 

6. Communication Standards

  • All communication within ConnectTeam must be professional, respectful, and work-related.

  • Offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or harassing language is strictly prohibited.

  • Messages may be monitored by management for compliance and operational integrity.

 

7. Privacy and Monitoring

  • Employees should have no expectation of privacy when using ConnectTeam for work purposes.

  • Aquila Protective Services reserves the right to access, review, and retain any data transmitted through ConnectTeam, including timestamps, messages, form submissions, and geolocation data.

  • Usage data may be used for attendance validation, internal investigations, or legal compliance.

 

8. Device Requirements and Data Usage

  • Employees are responsible for ensuring that ConnectTeam remains installed and updated on their mobile device.

  • Data usage incurred while using ConnectTeam is the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted in a written agreement.

  • If using a company-issued device, all mobile activity is subject to additional company device policies.

 

9. Training and Support

  • All users will receive onboarding instructions and training materials for ConnectTeam.

  • Support is available through designated supervisors or the company’s administrative team.

  • Continued use of the app implies consent to the latest version of this policy.

 

10. Violations and Disciplinary Action

Violations of this policy, including but not limited to:

  • Misuse of the platform

  • Falsification of time entries

  • Inappropriate communication

  • Unauthorized data access
    may result in corrective action, up to and including termination of employment.

 

11. Policy Acceptance and Acknowledgment

By using the ConnectTeam platform, employees acknowledge that:

  • They have read and understand this policy

  • They agree to abide by its terms

  • They understand the consequences of misuse
